Subscription Plans & Costs

Our individual plans start at $7.99 per month ($84.99 for the yearly option). You can find more details on our Plans & Pricing page. 

Our minimum subscription term is one month. You can opt to pay for your ServSafe Benefits subscription monthly or yearly. Monthly subscribers are charged at the beginning of their next month’s subscription period. Yearly subscribers are charged at the beginning of their annual subscription (and get a discount of two FREE months). You can cancel at any time ahead of your next automatic payment and your subscription will remain active until the end of the period for which you have already been billed. 

Yes! You will receive a reminder email 25 days ahead of your automatic renewal date. If you need to make any changes to your payment method or automatic renewal status please do not hesitate to contact us. 

If you are interested in subscribing to ServSafe Benefits for you and your family, you will want to select one of our Individual plans. All of our health-related services and savings (Teladoc subscription, prescription discounts, at-home health testing discounts, and health savings card discounts) apply to you and everyone in your household. 

No! We welcome anyone who would like access to our offered services, including telehealth, health-related savings, and fantastic discounts, and who doesn’t already get them through an employer. This includes independent contractors, gig workers, or freelancers who work in any industry.

Log into your account and, from the left navigation menu, select Payment Methods to update your payment or billing information.

Though we require a credit card for setting up your subscription profile, rest assured that it will not be charged until the end of your free trial period.

Teladoc Services

Teladoc Health is a third-party healthcare service provider that offers convenient, confidential access to quality doctors 24/7, anytime, anywhere. ServSafe Benefits has arranged for individual subscribers to have access to Teladoc through the payment of a portion of each subscriber’s subscription fees to Teladoc. By subscribing to Teladoc and scheduling a visit with one of Teladoc’s U.S. board-certified and licensed medical doctors, you can be diagnosed, treated, and prescribed medication if necessary. 

Teladoc can help you and your family with everyday, non-emergency healthcare issues, including sinus problems, allergies, flu symptoms, and much more. Teladoc is designed to help you feel better, faster, and get you back to living your life. 

Subscribers enrolled with Teladoc will enjoy a $0 co-pay for themselves or their families when using Teladoc. 

No. Teladoc doesn’t replace your primary care doctor. Teladoc should be used for non-emergency illnesses when it is not convenient to get to the doctor or it is outside of regular office hours. 

ServSafe Benefits will automatically subscribe its subscribers with Teladoc and pay a portion of the subscription fee to cover Teladoc’s subscription so that there is no additional cost to the subscriber. The best way to access Teladoc services is using the Teladoc mobile app. You can access these services no matter where you are—even if you are traveling outside your city or state. Simply download and log into the Teladoc app, verify your subscription, and consult a qualified doctor on any questions, symptoms, or issues. No. Pursuant to Teladoc’s terms, such telehealth is a separate benefit, and your insurance information is not required to have a visit. 

Once enrolled, you can access the Teladoc service via the app, web, or phone, and visits are available by phone or video.  There is no time limit for visits, and there is no extra charge for longer doctor visits. 

Yes! ServSafe Benefits individual subscribers can use Teladoc service for themselves, their spouse, and their dependents. Dependents over 18 years old must call the Teladoc service center to request a visit. For dependents under 18 years old, the primary account holder must request a visit on their behalf through the app, website, or by phone. 

Teladoc doctors are U.S. board-certified internists, family doctors, and pediatricians. They average 20 years of experience and are licensed to practice in your state. 

Yes, when medically appropriate, doctors can prescribe medications. If a prescription is not required, the doctor may provide the member with instructions for managing symptoms or following up with their primary care doctor. 

With your consent, Teladoc does currently offer to send an electronic copy of your Teladoc visit to your primary care doctor. 

Teladoc is available in all 50 states, so you can use the service while traveling within the United States. Some restrictions may apply.

ServSafe Benefits has arranged for 24/7 telehealth services to be available to subscribers from Teladoc Health, Inc. A portion of each subscriber’s subscription fee will be collected and remitted directly to Teladoc for such services.
